Be on the look-out

Heads up people, those lazy punks are at it again. homes and businesses around Canton are being broken into more each week, the place where I work has been hit twice in the last month as well as the business across the street. just last week three homes was hit right here in my own community so no one is safe, as citizens we need to band togather to stamp out crime in our hood but I know that ain't gonna happen because nobody got the balls to make a stand, I don't know about u guys but I'm tired of working my butt off so that some sorry a-hole who don't want to work can rip me off while I'm at work, I have a 12 gage solution to that problem and I suggest u do the same.

Police protection, not in this town.

I'm very unhappy about the lack of concern that the police department boldly displays towards the citizens they are sworn to serve and protect. over the years many of my friends and family members have fallen victim to thives and calling the police was a big waste of time, the only thing you could expect from them is a few minutes of conversation at best. I'm well ware that cops are only human and can't be everywhare at once but they can make more of an efford to investigate things. a closer look may reveal a clue that could id the perp, maybe something they droped such as a wallet or other proof of id. when law enforcement officers fail to preporm the things they  swore to do, not only do they leave the city open for the enjoyment of criminals but they also become criminals themselves by taking money they haven't earned in the form of a pay check. As citizens we deserve good police protection, after all it's our hard earned tax dollars they are wasting. would you pay a carpenter for work on your home that he didn't do,of course not, I say equal work for equal pay( what do you think)

Silent victims

This post express a problem most families in and around Canton know well {Home Break-Ins } As a victim I can say that comming home to find your home has been invaded by burglars is no fun.

Cash and other material things taken during home invations may hurt financially but nothing can compare to the pain of being deprived of priceless family heirlooms that has passed through many generations. break-ins have become so wide spread that no community is safe and i'll tell you why, its because people are afraid to speak out due to fear of retaliation. When residents take the silent  option they become a part of the problem rather than the solution, believing that they would be left alone if they stay quite is just another way of turning a blind eye to the truth. if burglars are allowed to opperate freely and without fear of retribution they don't stop but get worst and we as citizens need to band togather to drive out the those sorry lazy a-holes that threatens the privacy and safety of our homes.

Pull those pants up!

As you may have noticed, the vast majority of teens and young adults have adopted the practice of letting their pants sag off their butt to the point that most of the underware is exposed to the public. In this society that's the norm and any young person who choose not to dress in that way is considered uncool and often picked on. Sad to say but most parents support their children in dressing in such a disrespectful manner, to them its a means of self expression and young people have the right to openly proclaim who they are. well that may be true to them, however every coin has two sides so lets dig deeper into this. I find it to be a sign of disrespect for young people to walk about displsying their underware for two reasons (first ) it shows that you have no respect for yourself or your parent, the world we live in is a very dirty place when you go about your daily deeds those white undies you left home in this morning ends up looking brown because of all the dirt they picked up during the day. if someone was walking behind you and saw that they might get the picture of poor hygenes or that your mother doesn't wash colthes very often. (second) There are senior citizens out there who should not have to look at your underware (dirty or clean) I could give you 30 reasons but I'm sure you don't have the time. give me some feedback.

ROADSIDE BASKETBALL

Have you ever driven down a city street to find youngster playing basketball with a portable goal just off the shoulder of the road? Some parents don't see that as a problem but not all of us see it that way, activities of that nature often disrupt the flow of traffic causing heated communication between motorist and kids. violence and accidental run downs are common and yet senseless in communities where the laws prohibiting roadside basketball are not enforced or simply non-existing. What do you think about it and what do think can de done to correct the problem.
